Through the research of the Onondaga Nation’s history, there were several events of dispossession, treaties, etc. In which were all concerning the sovereignty of land, culture, identity. Meanwhile, the congregation of the historical events implied a circulatory pattern, that seems to be recurring throughout the times. Therefore, it is crucial be prepared for the “next cycle” to preserve the sovereignty and tie the community together. The corn not only has been nourishing the Onondaga society throughout the history, but also become the major part of the community that bond the people together. The corn become the essence of the culture, that symbolized the spirit of the Onondaga people, and the sovereignty.

By analyzing and tracing the daily routine of the characters, which involved elderly, Onondaga people, visitors, and animals that are associated with the community, the trajectory within suggests a common feature among them, that the corn field have been the “topic” gathering all sorts of characters, and become a introduction to the outsiders.

The change of function in the event of seed bank become notably important, that it changed from merely seed storages to a education and gathering center for the community. Therefore, by translating the pitched roof of the seed bank, into a humble geometric shape resembled the ideology behind the corn and the ambition to reconnect the community.
While the composition of the programs based on the action of dropping the corn seeds, which intended to create the “shuffling” among different characters, creating various “surprises” within the structure.
